2018 GCSE Success!
We are excited to announce that in the School’s fourth year of examination results they continue to go from strength to strength, with English and mathematics (grade 4 or above) at 62% (increase from 51% in 2017) and the percentage achieving a strong pass (grade 5 or above) being 34%.
We are particularly pleased with our mathematics results, where 74% of students achieved a grade 4 or higher (a 17% improvement on last year). English results remain strong at 70% of students achieving a grade 4 or above. 80% of our students achieved a grade 4 or above in two Sciences and 70% of students who sat a language attained a grade 4 or above.
Another highlight is the progress made by disadvantaged students at the school who, for the second consecutive year, has been superb – leading to outcomes comparable to those achieved by all students at the school.
We are proud of all of our students’ outcomes, especially Jasmine Brown who achieved 10 GCSEs at grade 7 or above including a coveted 9 in science, Jack Wilson, Alexandra Maxwell-Clarke, William Pik, Jade Nelson and Emily Muteham who also secured outstanding GCSE results.
